Today I am reviewing Indus Valley Bio Organic Aloe Vera Gel. Aloe Vera is known for its cooling and healing properties.I just love Aleo vera because we all know how beneficial it is,It cures many skin and hair problems. There are so many beauty products that contains Aloe Vera extracts but it is very difficult to find good one for our skin types.
Recently I was looking for a good Aloe Vera gel for oily skin(Since I’m super oily). I came across Indus Valley Bio Organic Aloe Vera Gel. I googled for its reviews but I couldn’t find anything about it but in amazon it had nearly 250 reviews. Most of them gave it a thumbs up.So I decided to go for it.
Ingredients Used in Indus Valley Bio Organic Aloe Vera Gel:
Aloe Vera(Aloe Barbadensis), Rose Water(Aqua Rosae Fortior), Wheat Germ(Triticum vulgare) extract, Honey, Ascorbic acid, Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium benzoate, Phenoxy ethanol.
Packaging of the Product:
It comes in a transparent plastic box (Nope its not glass) with a golden color circular cap.It looks like a pretty classic box from 90’s did a time travel to 20’s. The packaging is not so impressive but the cap is secure enough to make sure there is no leakage of product. The biggest disadvantage is it’s not travel friendly. It’s big, heavy and needs more space.
Direction For Use:
Take a small amount of the product and apply it on your face and massage it.
My Experience with Indus Valley Bio Organic Aloe Vera Gel:
I have very a oily and acne prone skin and Aloe-Vera gel is the most important product in my skin care regimen. Indus Valley Bio Organic Aloe Vera Gel is transparent and it has a mild fragrance(it can be either artificial fragrance or rose water) It has a perfect gel like consistency which is neither very thick nor runny. It is not light weight and doesn’t get absorbed by the skin very easily. I used this gel at night before going to bed.It took 5 minutes to get absorbed. It gave me a very little cooling sensation.Once it got absorbed, my skin felt smooth and had a glow but the next day when I woke up, my face had breakouts.I decided to use it during day time. Initially it gave me the smooth skin once I applied but after a few hours my skin started to turn rough and dull.I used it for a week only to get disappointed. The more days I used the more breakouts showed up.So It’s a big NO NO for oily and sensitive skin. If you have a super dry skin this product may work for you.
